Another great shot progression of Frozen from Daniel Peixe over at Disney Animation.

If you watch his reference video you can see some of the stuff he uses as his base and then pluses and pushes the animation. Great insight on how to use reference video effectively.

Enjoy!

Bodies in Motion : Animation Reference

I ran into this site a while back but just getting around to posting on this great reference. Scott Eaton shows off his Artistic Anatomy, Digital Sculpture and VFX. There is a category over on the side under Courses & Reference titled: Bodies in Motion Image Library. He has a ton of images of single frames of motion all put next to each other to show you the break-down of the motion.

So have a look around and check out some cool ref.

Animation Breakdown: The Making Of 'Niggles & Narks'

Here's a great little piece that was passed on at work. It shows the break down of the TV spot done by The Mill, a Visual Effects Studio with locations in the UK, NY and LA. They do a great job breaking down their process and gives everyone a good look at what goes into a project like this.
