“Maleficent” will cross $600 million at the global box office Wednesday, becoming the fourth film of the year to hit that mark.
The Walt Disney Studios release is now in its fifth week of release, and has made $205 million domestically and $400 million internationally, making it the biggest live-action hit of Angelina Jolie’s career.
This makes three blockbusters to which writer Linda Woolverton has been attached: Beauty and the Beast, Alice in Wonderland, and Maleficent. The woman is on a roll.
