This exquisite artwork needs nothing more from me than to say "enjoy!"

One more

Keeping w/ the same theme, here's another Freddy Moore rip-off superheroine, based off of Julie Newmar's Catwoman, apparently dealing with a little bit of holiday weight!

PINOCCHIO opens today at the El Capitan in Hollywood, CA. The newly restored digital version is incredibly beautiful with a miraculously awakened soundtrack. If you are anywhere near Southern California, you'll want to plan to see this rare big-screen presentation, complete with Mighty Wurlitzer pre-show and an onstage appearance by PINOCCHIO himself.

We've presented some wonderful B/G artwork previosuly which can be seen here:

And here are some new ones:

To help keep my sanity, tonight I took a little break from my film to do something for this week's Art Jumble topic. Wonder Woman, via Freddy Moore.

Check the archives on that blog for tons more Moore deliciousness. Put together by Pedro Daniel. Alright, back to the film! Thanks for dropping by!

BAMBI pan background

Tonight, once again I found nirvana in recreating this gorgeous pan background piece from BAMBI. There is a sublime tranquility in this artwork. No pop art colors. It is a gentle palette... creating a beautiful landscape for Bambi's first walk to the meadow.

This artwork is a perfect example of why I revere the art and artists from early Disney.

As usual I have split the pan so you can click on right and left sections to see greater detail.
