Our LA office is currently looking to hire Animators for Feburary 2014 start dates.
Summary of Position: Works under the Animation Supervisor or Animation Lead to create realistic creature and character animation for Television and Feature live action productions. Animators at Zoic may be asked to animate anything from an alien slug to a 6 legged chimera so strong visual understanding of anatomy and physics is a must.
Responsibilities: Realistic creature and character animation Ensuring animation meets production deadlines Ensuring animation meets quality standards Knowing and following all pipeline and studio policies and procedures Extensive experience and working knowledge with motion capture in Maya. Qualifications: Experience working as a 3D animator within film and television, a must. Proficiency animating in Maya, in particular working with Motion Capture pipeline for gaming. Prior working experience in gaming production pipeline utilizing Maya is required. actual game engine knowledge is bonus but not required. Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment. Positive attitude, hard worker, flexible schedule. Strong attention to detail and follow through
